What's New:

From the Alvarez pack comes the report that their first homebred mini wire boy, Minsmere First Edition MW, aka Cody, really enjoyed his first dog show outing in Louisiana and even placed in the bred-by class despite being just barely old enough to show. The following week, Cody took back-to-back majors and the variety going over a special at the Alaska Kennel Club shows held June 28 -29. Cody went on to make the cut in group the second day and then, he took a bred-by exhibitor group 2! Not bad for a wee one who was just over 6 months of age. Then, in July, their Affenpinscher, Tamarin Towntalk Nyteflyte, aka Harry (who is Cody's best pal and romping mate), finished his championship in grand style when Azalea showed him in best of winners class and he took a 5-point major at the supported entry of the Affenpinscher Club of America National Specialty held in San Antonio this year as part of the River City Cluster. The first weekend in August, at the Cook Inlet Kennel Club shows in Alaska, Cody's littermate sister, Buenavista's First Star MW (Rosa), was winners bitch at all three shows and took the variety over a special at the Friday show. Rosa now just needs one point to finish. So far, this has been a great summer for the Alvarez pack!

Congratulations to all and continued success!
